Clenzd – Powerful Food-Grade Sanitizer That Eliminates 99.999% Of Viruses And Bacteria!

Have you heard of any sanitizer that is food-grade, and makes use of a mild type of acid that our body can produce to keep our surroundings clean?

It is mind-blowing for me because this acid that OUR human body produces can kill 99.999% of viruses and bacteria around us!

But this is apparently not a new technology as its key component is widely used for food safety industrial purpose since two decades ago. We just don’t usually find food-grade sanitizer in Singapore supermarket shelves.

The anti-bacterial cleaning products and sanitizers that we often use are either soap-based or contain alcohol. These are not entirely safe for kids nor pets at home.

Read on to find out more about the product.

Clenzd HOCI Sanitizing Biocider – Food Grade Sanitizer

Clenzd is a safe sterilizing liquid that uses Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) for its powerful disinfecting capability.

A Singapore brand, the Biam Group started Clenzd’s line of sanitizing products in early 2019, just in time to help Singaporeans battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

Clenzd

The product is slightly acidic (ph 5 to 6.5) and produces little to no odour.

It has been tested and proven to kill 99.999% of viruses, bacteria, fungus, yeast and allergens. Proven to be 80-100x more effective than other disinfectants like Sodium Hypochlorite (Bleach) or Alcohol.

As powerful and effective as it is, it is also certified to be safe for humans (including children), animals and the environment. The sanitizer is safe for ingestion, though not recommended.

What is Hypochlorous acid (HOCl)

HOCl is formed when HCl (Hydrochloric Acid) electrolyzes with water.

HCI is the main component of gastric acid, an acid produced naturally in the human stomach to help digest food.

HCI can also be synthetically produced large scale for industrial and commercial usage.

Is Hypochlorous Acid Safe for Home Use?

HOCI has been approved by various authorities globally as food additives, food sterilising agent, and removing microorganism. For the fact that the human body produces HCI, HOCI is logically safe for home use too.

See below for approvals for HOCI issued by agencies specializing in food and drug safety in various countries.

In summary of the review linked above, HOCl is one disinfectant that may help reduce the transmission of COVID-19. It comprises many of the desired effects of the ideal disinfectant. It is easy to use, is affordable, has a good safety profile, and can be used to disinfect large areas quickly and with a broad range of bactericidal and virucidal effects.

How I Use Clenzd For Family Safety

There are so many ways we can use Clenzd Sanitizer. My key concerns are the kids and food safety.

Things that my kids put into their mouths should be free from bacteria. But there are times that we either overlook or it is just too hard to get rid of the danger around us.

Think of their toothbrushes. We often rinse their toothbrushes after use. But placing their toothbrushes in the bathroom all day where bacteria lurks? And anyway, is rinsing the toothbrush effective in removing bacteria from the bristle? We all know the answer.

Spray Clenzd sanitizer onto the bristles, wait 10 seconds for the extermination of bacteria and viruses on the toothbrush. It is that simple. No rinsing required.

How about the mold that develops on their water bottle caps after a few weeks of use? These molds stubbornly cling onto the silicon under the cap and cannot be removed with soap and scrubbing.

I feel much assured using a food-grade sanitizer on items they put into their mouth. While Clenzd sanitizer cannot remove mold from the bottle cap, it can at least kill the mold spores to stop it from growing.

By the way, if Clenzd can remove mold entirely from the bottle-cap, isn’t it as good as bleach? We won’t want to put anything strong as bleach into our mouth.

Food Grade Sanitizer For Kitchen Use

Spraying HOCI onto the washed chopping board helps to eliminate bacteria hiding in cracks and grooves.

Keeping my frozen food packages clean with Clenzd sanitizier.

A perfect way to clean and sanitize my fridge without using soap. That is a lot of cleaning work minimized.

Imagine washing our fridge with soap. We need to remove everything from the fridge, sponge detergent onto the walls and subsequently wipe clean the walls several times to ensure no soap residue remains. Yes, we can use baking soda and vinegar too, but since the data supporting the effectiveness of bacteria elimination using HOCI is so strong, I cannot resist switching to using Clenzd instead. This is so much easier and proven effective.

Clenzd sanitizers come in 30ml bottles too, perfect for school and outdoor use.

The food-grade sanitizer works well cleaning my girl’s wound after her fall in the playground too. The solution does not sting like antiseptic spray. In fact, she does not even feel a thing when I sprayed the solution on her.

I sprayed the sanitizer all around their clothes, limbs and face at the end of their outdoor play session. A word of caution though, the sanitizer does sting their sensitive eyes.

How about the public toilet seats? We know how the public toilet seats are, especially those in the hawker centres and food court. This sanitizing spray definitely improves our public toilet experience.

There are so many other ways to use Clenzd! I am going to get more bottles to keep the car, in the kids’ school bags and hubby’s office. Spray on all over us before entering the car after an outing, after office lunch, etc. How about tables on hawker centres and public transport seats too?

Other Clenzd Products

Other than the 30ml, 300ml and 500ml bottles, the sanitizing biocider comes in 5 litres bottle for heavy home usage too.
