If you are a parent with young kids like me, you probably have a ton of parenting and housekeeping matters to handle on top of your day job, and you will likely look for time-saving methods to get as many tasks completed as possible.
For me, I like to keep my mornings available to home-school my twins. It is my commitment to them, and I wish to carry out as many fun learning activities as I can with them. Shopping for groceries in the supermarket takes away my time, and I am thankful for having the option to buy online instead.
Grocery Credit Cards with Best Cashback
These are some of the credit cards that in my opinion, give out the best cashback while shopping online for our daily necessities. At times like this (Covid-19), travelling for leisure is almost impossible. So if you have credit cards that give you rebates in miles, consider if you’re going to continue to stack up your miles or switch to cashback rewards.

On a side note, remember to bundle your card spendings with your saving accounts to get higher interest rate if possible.
Maximize your interest on savings accounts by spending on your credit cards
We use the OCBC’s 365 Credit Card on our grocery shopping to receive additional interest on our OCBC 360 Account. However, while researching for this post, I discovered that OCBC has removed credit card spending as one of the components for bonus interest. Thus, it is time to ditch this card that is only giving us 3% cash rebates on our groceries, and 6% on dining.
If you happen to have a DBS/POSB Multiplier Account, the DBS Live Fresh Card and POSB Everyday Card will work for you.
DBS Live Fresh Card and POSB Everyday Card
For the first $50,000 account balance in DBS/POSB Multiplier Account, you get to earn extra interest from transactions through the same account. All you need to do is to ensure that your salary is credited to the Multiplier account, and make transactions in one or more categories (including your pay, payment for housing loan instalment, invest in an eligible investment or credit card spend).
For instance, if the total transaction amount for the month is between S$5,000 to S$15,000 (income + 2 categories), you get 1.8%^^ on your first $50,000 account balance and 2.4%^^ on the next $50,000. If the accumulated transaction amount is more than $30,000 for the month, interest can get as high as 2.8%^^, which is significant, especially since the current SGD interest rate is near zero. ^^Rates as of 27 August 2020
