Our twin toddlers just turned 19 months and it is high time for them to go for a more exciting and yet safe adventure. Splash @ Kidz Amaze is a wonderful choice. Thanks to Cousin again for your excellent recommendation.
Splash @ Kidz Amaze
Splash @ Kidz Amaze has a standard depth of 30 cm throughout and is set up with children of the various age group in mind.
There is a toddler section for the three years old and below. The numerous water sprouts features in this section are little kids friendly, and water pressure is gentle. Our 19-month-old kiddos enjoyed hanging out near their older siblings who were having fun with the water sprays.
There is even a mini slide for toddlers to experience their first water slide. See the photo below; the slide is located behind me.
Main Play Area
In the main play area stands a three-storey structure with four slides of different heights to cater to children with different guts.
The two open slides are great for younger children.
At the foot of the blue open slide (picture below), the smallest of all slides is padded with a thick landing pad. Our little ones are gutsy enough to try these out a couple of times. They managed to slide down gently and did not submerge under the water at all.
The green open slide has a super long landing bay, and I assume this is a safety feature. A crew is always standing there to regulate the crowd and ensure that the landing area is clear before any kid comes tumbling down.
The other two taller slides are tunnel slides and have a minimum height limit of 1.2m. A crew member stationed at the mouth of the tunnel all the time, again to ensure order and safety. No entry is allowed before the person in front is out of the slide. The crew allowed me to accompany my 7-year-old daughter down the tunnel.
My first ride through the tallest tunnel was a little frightening as I did not have a good look at the slide design before I entered. It was pitch dark inside the tunnel, and we made a few turns before landing at the bottom. Subsequent tries were fun.
Other worth mentioning
The water in the playground is not supposed to be cold. But when we first entered, it felt cold. I did notice warm water coming out from the valves, but it was not warm enough to heat up the entire pool. My toddler’s lips turned purple after an hour, and I decided to terminate her session of water play early.
There are lockers in the toilets. Two different sizes that cost $2 and $4 respectively. I felt the charges are a little bit high.
The shower room is excellent, with ample cubicles and space to hang out while waiting for everyone to clean up. Warm and cold showers are available, but I wish the tiles in the shower room are not filled with mould.
Food-wise, there are a lot of choices in SAFRA Punggol. Just opposite Splash @ Kids Amaze is MacDonald where we filled our stomach before entering the water playground.

My Verdict
Will I bring my kids to Splash @ Kidz Amaze again?
Likely, I will. Although each visit will set us back by $40 for a family package (non-member), I like the safety feature in the playground. Click here for the rates.
For a parent with a pair of active twins running in different directions, safety is the number one consideration when it comes to outdoor play.
